The Marketing Executive (Student recruitment) will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to promote the programs at City University Malaysia. This includes targeting potential ODL & postgraduate students, creating impactful marketing materials, actively participating in all the recruitment activities.

Job Purpose:

To support and implement marketing and student recruitment initiatives for City University Malaysia's Postgraduate and Online Distance Learning (ODL) programs. This role is key in executing marketing campaigns, managing leads, and engaging prospective students particularly working professionals and adult learners.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Campaign Execution

  • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns for PG and ODL programs (both digital and offline).
  • Coordinate with designers, content creators, and digital teams to ensure timely rollout of promotional materials.

Lead Generation & CRM

  • Manage and follow up with prospective student leads via CRM tools, WhatsApp, email, and phone calls.
  • Ensure proper documentation and lead nurturing for higher conversion rates.

Digital Marketing Support

  • Support social media campaigns, paid ads (Meta, Google), and email marketing efforts.
  • Monitor performance of digital channels and suggest improvements.

Events & Outreach

  • Coordinate and participate in webinars, virtual open days, education fairs, and other recruitment events.
  • Liaise with education agents, corporate partners, and alumni to support outreach and student engagement.

Content Support

  • Assist in preparing program brochures, email content, PowerPoint decks, and basic copywriting for promotional use.

Reporting

  • Assist in preparing weekly and monthly marketing reports on leads, conversions, campaign results, and engagement metrics.
