About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chargeman to join our team at Paragon Market Place in Johor Bahru. As a full-time employee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations. Your expertise and leadership will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our facilities.

What you'll be doing

  1. To carry out check, inspection and monitoring for HT and LV system and TNB supply according to (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) guideline.
  2. Lead a team in installation, maintenance and monitoring all electrical works to support efficient building operations ensuring that all facilities are running in good condition.
  3. To attend to all major power and equipment breakdown/troubleshoot and rectify accordingly.
  4. To response to emergency call breakdown within stipulated response time.
  5. To supervise external contractor's works / service and monitor their performance.
  6. To provide support and assistance in building maintenance to the team.
  7. Perform any other tasks or assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

What we're looking for

  1. Possess at least AO Chargeman Competency Certificate or higher;
  2. Able to work on Weekends & PH (if needed) and willing to work outside normal office hours (on-call basis)
  3. Able to supervise, direct and monitor a team of subordinate staff.
  4. Matured, aggressive, responsible and able to work independently to provide efficient support.
  5. At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field. Those with related building maintenance experience will have an added advantage.
  6. Additional skills and knowledge in M&E replacement
  7. Proficient in computer skills, MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
