The Procurement Specialist (Korean Speaker) will play a key role in managing procurement and supply chain activities within the insurance industry, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness. This role requires fluency in Korean and strong analytical skills to support vendor management and procurement strategies.

Description

  • Manage procurement activities, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and supplier relationship management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations in all procurement processes.
  • Utilize strong analytical skills to monitor procurement performance and identify opportunities for cost savings.
  • Support supply chain operations to maintain efficiency and timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Prepare and present procurement reports to stakeholders for informed decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation for audit purposes.
  • Provide translation and communication support in Korean for procurement-related activities.

Profile

A successful Procurement Specialist (Korean Speaker) should have:

  • Fluency in Korean and English, both written and spoken, to facilitate communication with stakeholders. Candidate with TOPIK Level 4 and above is proffered.
  • Candidates with 2-3 years of experience in supply chain or procurement are preferred, though fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Experience with SAP or Oracle is an added advantage
  • Diploma or degree in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field is required.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to optimize procurement processes.
  • Experience in vendor management and contract negotiations within the insurance industry is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in relevant procurement software and tools for efficient task execution.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills for managing multiple priorities.
