About the role

As an Operation Executive at COLUMBUS LOGISTICS SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in the smooth and efficient operation of our freight and cargo forwarding business. Joining our team in Bandar Botanic, Selangor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various aspects of our logistics operations to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods for our valued clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinating the movement and tracking of freight and cargo throughout the supply chain
  2. Communicating with clients, carriers, and other stakeholders to provide updates and resolve any issues
  3. Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to shipments, inventory, and customer orders
  4. Optimizing logistics processes and procedures to improve efficiency and cost-effectiveness
  5. Assisting with the planning and scheduling of transportation and warehouse activities
  6. Collaborating with the sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless client experiences
  7. Monitoring and analysing key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar operation executive or logistics coordinator role
  2. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to handle time-sensitive situations
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to liaise with clients, carriers, and internal teams
  4. Proficient in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
  5. Familiarity with freight and cargo forwarding processes, regulations, and industry best practices
  6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  7. Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
