Role Description
Driven and capable
Strategic Key Account Manager
to lead our growth across major pharmacy chains, FMCG, and convenience channels in Malaysia. This hybrid role combines relationship management with strategic thinking — ideal for someone who can both manage accounts and spearhead expansion opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
a) Key Account Management
- Manage and grow strategic partnerships with pharmacy chains such as Watsons, Guardian, Big Pharmacy, and Health Lane.
- Plan and execute promotions, trade marketing initiatives, and in-store activations.
- Negotiate trading terms and sales agreements with buyers.
- Develop accurate sales forecasts and ensure sales targets are met.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through timely service and follow-ups.
b) Distribution & Channel Strategy
- Manage and optimize relationships with local distributors to increase sales coverage and efficiency.
- Work with internal teams to ensure stock availability, effective merchandising, and sell-through performance.
- Collaborate closely with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to deliver integrated commercial plans.
c) Business Development
- Identify and pursue new growth opportunities in FMCG and convenience store channels.
- Drive market expansion through new product launches, brand partnerships, and channel development.
- Conduct category and competitor analysis to support product positioning and strategic sales initiatives.
- Develop commercial strategies to support long-term brand growth and distribution reach.
- Explore and open new doors for Surya and other health brands across retail segments.
