Role Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven
Key Account Manager
with strong experience in IT and cybersecurity solutions. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth, managing key client relationships, and delivering tailored cybersecurity solutions that align with business goals.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts within the cybersecurity and IT solutions sector.
- Achieve revenue and profit targets by maximizing spend per account while maintaining healthy margins.
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities through strategic engagement and relationship building.
- Create demand for the organization's cybersecurity offerings and promote relevant products, services, and solutions.
- Build and maintain long-term strategic relationships with client executives and decision-makers.
- Conduct presentations, strategy meetings, and solution discussions with customers' senior management teams.
- Understand customer business needs and translate technical cybersecurity solutions into business value propositions.
- Develop and implement long-term cybersecurity strategies for key clients.
- Oversee project delivery within accounts, ensuring quality execution and customer satisfaction.
- Monitor account performance, payment collection, and ongoing client activities.
- Stay current on cybersecurity trends, competitive products, and market dynamics to identify new opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with technical and project teams to ensure alignment and delivery excellence.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
- 3–5 years of commercial sales experience in the IT industry, preferably focusing on cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with proven ability to develop win-win customer strategies.
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of results.
- Experience in contract negotiation, deal shaping, and account planning.
- Good understanding of the IT and cybersecurity landscape, from SME to large enterprise-level business solutions.
Salary range: RM5,000 - RM7,500
