Responsibilities:

Data-Driven Strategies:

• Develop and implement data-driven strategies to enhance decision-making processes and drive business growth.

• Collaborate with senior management to identify key business objectives and align data analytics initiatives accordingly.

• Foster collaboration with departments across the organization to identify opportunities for data-driven initiatives, ensuring analytics solutions address specific business challenges and contribute to overall growth.

• Utilize advanced analytics techniques to uncover insights from large datasets and provide actionable recommendations.

• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the effectiveness of data analytics initiatives, regularly reporting progress to senior leadership and making data-driven recommendations for improvements.

Customer Acquisitions and Cross-Selling:

• Utilize data analytics to identify potential high-value customers and develop targeted strategies for customer acquisition.

• Design cross-selling initiatives based on customer behavior and preferences, driving revenue growth.

• Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create personalized customer experiences using data-driven insights.

Innovation:

• Lead efforts to innovate data analytics methodologies, tools, and technologies to stay ahead in the rapidly evolving financial industry.

• Foster a culture of innovation within the data analytics team by encouraging experimentation and creative problem-solving.

• Identify emerging trends in data analytics and leverage them to create new business opportunities.

Data Projects:

• Oversee end-to-end execution of data projects, including data collection, processing, analysis, and visualization.

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring successful delivery of data-driven solutions.

• Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data quality and integrity throughout project lifecycles.

Human Capital:

• Build and lead a high-performing data analytics team by hiring, mentoring, and developing top talent.

• Define roles and responsibilities within the team, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.

• Provide guidance and support for professional growth, skill development, and career progression of team members

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in data analytics and financial services, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

• Proven ability to develop and implement a data analytics strategy aligned with the bank's overall goals and objectives.

• Strong background in data management, statistical analysis, data mining, and machine learning techniques, using tools such as Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.

• Deep understanding of wholesale banking operations, financial products, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

• Demonstrated leadership in managing and mentoring a diverse team of data analysts, data scientists, and business analysts.

• Ability to collaborate with senior management, business heads, and IT teams to identify analytics opportunities and translate them into actionable insights.

• Proven track record of solving complex business challenges using data-driven approaches, and the ability to identify areas for process improvement.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Stay up to date with emerging trends in data analytics, fintech, and banking technology to drive innovation within the analytics function.

• Familiarity with data privacy regulations and financial industry regulations to ensure compliance in data handling and reporting.
