Account Assistant cum Admin

Data Entry & Document Processing
- Input all accounting transactions into the system accurately and promptly.
- Verify and update invoices, receipts, payment vouchers, and purchase orders.
- Maintain and update accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) data.
- Ensure all entries are supported with proper documentation.
2. Financial Record Maintenance
- Organise and file financial documents (digital & physical).
- Assist in maintaining ledgers, journals, and transaction records.
- Check for discrepancies and ensure data accuracy before submission to the accounts team.
3. Invoice & Payment Support
- Prepare basic invoices or billing when required.
- Assist in tracking customer payments and outstanding balances.
- Support supplier payment processing by preparing necessary documents.
4. Reconciliation & Checking
- Perform basic bank reconciliation or cross-check statements for accuracy.
- Highlight any unusual transactions or mismatched figures to the Accounts Executive/Senior.
- Ensure all recorded data matches finance records.
5. Reporting & Administrative Assistance
- Generate simple financial reports (sales summary, payment listing, AP/AR listing).
- Assist in month-end closing by ensuring all data is updated.
- Provide administrative support to accounts department where needed.
6. Compliance & Confidentiality
- Ensure all financial data is handled with confidentiality.
- Follow accounting SOPs and company policies.
- Maintain accuracy and minimise data-entry errors.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
