Software Support Engineer (Kuala Lumpur | Hybrid)

This is a hands-on role where you'll troubleshoot, support and collaborate with a talented software team to provide top-notch support for our desktop, web and mobile applications. This role is based in our Kuala Lumpur office (Menara Worldwide, Bukit Bintang).

Hybrid work arrangement available after confirmation (reliable home internet required).


What You'll Do
  • Support mission-critical systems – Provide Level 2 support and ensure stability of trading platforms
  • Be client-focused – Work with internal & external clients to resolve issues quickly
  • Collaborate & troubleshoot – Partner with IT teams and developers to diagnose & fix problems
  • Daily checks & tracking – Run system checks, log & classify incidents in Jira, document solutions
  • Test & validate – Ensure fixes/updates are deployment-ready
  • On-call & on-site – Support when needed, including weekend deployments (off-in-lieu provided)
  • Continuous improvement – Participate in root cause analysis & ad hoc projects

What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Engineering or similar
  • 1+ years of experience in IT/software support but we are also open to fresh graduates with a willingness to learn
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and logical thinking skills
  • High commitment, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-starter who can work both independently and as part of a team
  • Multi-tasker who's strategic, creative and dynamic

Bonus Points For:

  • MySQL, Oracle PL/SQL, React JS, or shell scripting
  • Familiarity with Git, Jira, or ActiveMQ
