Social Media Internship – Oki Shokudo, Damansara Kim

Location: Damansara Kim, Petaling Jaya

Type: Internship

Duration: 3–6 months

Allowance: RM500–RM800/month (depending on experience)

About Oki Shokudo

Oki Shokudo is a health-conscious Japanese ramen restaurant inspired by Okinawan "Ikigai" living — promoting light, guilt-free, and colorful dining for families.

We're Malaysia's first fish-broth ramen house, located in Damansara Kim, PJ — a hidden gem known for our Pink Ramen, Wagyu Ramen, and family-friendly dining experience with an arcade corner for kids.

We're expanding our social media presence across Instagram, TikTok, and XiaoHongShu, and we're looking for a passionate intern who loves content creation, storytelling, and lifestyle branding.

What You'll Do

  • Assist in planning and creating social media content (videos, captions, reels, stories, etc.)
  • Brainstorm fun and creative ideas that reflect our Okinawa lifestyle and family-friendly dining concept
  • Engage with online followers and respond to comments/messages
  • Capture lifestyle moments and food photography in the restaurant
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to schedule posts and track performance
  • Help organize small influencer visits or campaign shoots

What We're Looking For

  • Female (Malay preferred, for brand representation in local audience content)
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, Mass Communication, Digital Media, or a related field
  • Strong interest in food, lifestyle, and content creation
  • Basic skills in video editing (CapCut, Canva, or similar tools)
  • Fluent in English and Malay (Chinese is a bonus)
  • Creative, self-motivated, and enjoys being in front of or behind the camera
