Job description:

  • Prepare and ensure timely payment for suppliers/ creditors.
  • Work closely with procurement to ensure PO, DO & invoices are received and endorsed. Cross check and attached all related document such as P/O, D/O, MRV, SRS, WRS, and control month end closing cut off.
  • To control, oversee and monitor the Cash flow position of the Company and decide on the proper utilization of funds to minimize exposure to interest and bank charge.
  • Assist in closing of monthly & yearly management accounts.
  • Posting daily and month end transaction to ensure that transaction are captured in the accounting system on a timely basis.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliation to ensure all transaction have been properly taken up and to detect error.
  • Maintain and keep a proper filing of all documents.
  • Handle vendor inquiry and payment related matters.
  • To sort out the stock item (MRV), non-stock item (MRN) and purchase order and filing it into the proper filing document.
  • To manage and process all the invoice details into the system (MIRO).
  • To prepare payment by prepare the remittance, payment voucher and cheque.
  • To create the delivery note for the cash sales item through its process which is quotation, sales order and delivery note.
  • To attend year end stock count.
  • To carry out other duties as instructed and arranged by superior from time to time.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of working experience in related field (fresh graduates with related are encouraged to apply).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Detail-oriented, responsible, and able to meet deadlines.
