Role Overview:
We are seeking a
Sustainability Solution Specialist
, to spearhead our customer acquisition efforts across financial institution and corporates. Your primary responsibility will be driving new client acquisition, leveraging your network and sales expertise within the financial services and corporate sector, understanding their sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) needs, and delivering tailored solutions that drive value.
Key Responsibilities:

Market Expansion:
Identify, target, and acquire new clients through proactive outreach, networking, and strategic engagement.

Relationship Management:
Build and nurture relationships with decision-makers and stakeholders (C-suite, business heads, sustainability officers) to drive trust and long-term partnerships.

Sales Execution:
Own the end-to-end sales process from prospecting to deal closure, ensuring achievement of sales and revenue targets.
·
Needs Analysis:
Understand client pain points in financial operations, compliance, and ESG reporting to position BlueOnion as a value-adding partner.
·
Presentations & Demos:
Deliver compelling presentations, product demonstrations, and proposals tailored to client requirements.
·
Negotiation & Closing:
Lead negotiations with confidence, address objections, and secure win-win outcomes.
·
Collaboration:
Work closely with product and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding and client satisfaction.
·
Performance Reporting:
Track, analyse, and report on sales performance, pipeline, and market trends to management.
Qualifications:
·
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or related fields.
·
Experience:
Minimum 5 years of proven sales, business development, or relationship management experience, with a strong focus on financial institutions (banks, insurance, asset management).
·
Sales Acumen:
Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve or exceed sales targets.
·
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with financial institutions' operational and regulatory environment. ESG or sustainability-related experience is a plus.
·
Communication:
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage senior-level stakeholders.
·
Analytical Mindset:
Ability to analyze market opportunities and drive go-to-market strategies.
·
Language Skills:
Fluency in English required; additional Asian languages highly desirable.
