PROJECT MANAGER:

  1. Project Planning & Execution: Oversee the end-to-end development of in-vehicle entertainment head units, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with customer requirements.
  2. Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with engineering, design, testing, manufacturing, and suppliers to drive project success.
  3. Stakeholder Management: Act as the bridge between internal teams, OEM customers, and external suppliers, ensuring smooth communication and project alignment.
  4. NPDS Implementation: Manage product lifecycle phases under the New Product Development System (NPDS) framework, from concept development to launch.
  5. Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to avoid delays or cost overruns.
  6. Technical Understanding: Collaborate with R&D teams to ensure technical feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  7. Timeline & Budget Control: Monitor project schedules, manage resources efficiently, and keep costs within the allocated budget.
  8. Quality Assurance: Ensure products meet automotive quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO and customer expectations.
  9. Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements for better efficiency, quality, and time-to-market.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  2. 3+ years of project management experience in automotive electronics, in-vehicle infotainment, or consumer electronics.
  3. Strong knowledge of New Product Development System (NPDS) and its application in automotive projects.
  4. Familiarity with the software and hardware development of in-vehicle entertainment head units.
  5. Experience managing projects with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
  6. Fluent in English, Malay and Mandarin (both spoken and written) to communicate with internal teams, customer and suppliers.
