Fleet Assistant

Job Description
- Plan and coordinate inbound (transfer from other sortation facilities and outbound of parcels, arrival & departure time of linehaul vehicles, utilizing truck capacity, route planning for drivers to meet improve ADT (Average Delivery Time) KPI
- Manage, brief and train ground team to make sure operation execution follow SOP
- Execute linehaul plans according to the set schedules and maximize capacity to ensure all deliveries are fast and on time according to the set service-level agreement (SLA)
- Manage all vendors drivers and in source drivers according to set key performance indicators (KPI)
- Develops ad-hoc plans to support peak volume like pay day or campaign day
- Involved in investigation of linehaul delays, or accidents as well as develops contingency plans to ensure on-time load delivery in the event of an enroute breakdown or accident
- Manage and lead bay coordinator to monitor truck loading efficiency and compliance
- Coordinate with sortation facilities to ensure sufficient manpower for linehaul loading according to linehaul schedule
- Understand the sorting process and pattern for better linehaul schedule planning
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma preferred
- 3-5 years of working experience in linehaul field or logistic transportation
- Experience in transport, supply chain and logistics management
- Effective organizational, planning and prioritization skills
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory capabilities
- Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Quick learning, adaptive and flexible
- Committed, result oriented, willing to go extra miles for goal achievement
- Like challenging goals and dynamic yet fun working environment
- Working pattern: 45 working hours weekly, Rotational shift schedule, Overtime if required (up to 6 working days)
- Multiple working location: Bukit Raja Selatan (Shah Alam)
