Job Description:

  • Design, develop, and maintain offline and real-time ETL pipelines for the game advertising domain, including performance tuning and scalability improvements.
  • Analyze ad conversion performance and produce customized/personalized reports and dashboards.
  • Build and maintain Python-based backend systems for data crawling, web scraping, and data ingestion

Job Requirement:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or related technical field
  • 1+ years of working experience in data engineer
  • Good understanding of various types of databases, including relational databases and distributed databases
  • Good understanding of
    Python/Java, SQL, HiveQL/SparkSQL and the relevant best practices/ techniques for perf tuning
  • Good analytical and technical skills in building batch/streaming data pipelines for big data, with
    experience using big-data processing engine like spark/flink/hive
  • Business proficiency (written and spoken) in Mandarin to communicate both verbally and in writing with non-English speaking counterparts based in China for gathering requirements and analysis
