BUILDING SURVEYOR JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

●     Assist with construction staking or site layout survey.

●     Mark and demarcate boundaries and reference points on the project site or section of land.

●     Conduct all general surveys and alignment surveys at the site.

●     Handle setting out work and demarcation work.

●     Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and local authorities on survey matters.

●     Plan, coordinate and implement surveying works.

●     Process surveyed data using surveying software.

●     Verify the accuracy of survey data, measurement and calculations.

●     Analyse and check the correctness of build-up according to construction plans and drawings.

●     Assist, align and complement the Structural & Civil Engineering works.

●     Perform post-survey data processing, drafting and prepare survey report.

●     Maintain and safe keep all survey instruments used are calibrated.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR JOB SCOPE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

●     Taking off quantities and prepare the bill of quantities.

●     Verify monthly progress claim and payment and recommending for payment.

●     Prepare estimated cost based on the bill of quantities.

●     Ensure that all contractual matters and requirement of ongoing project are in compliance.

●     Conduct site valuations.

●     Resolve the outstanding issues from domestic and NSC pertaining to their claim.

●     Conduct tender interview and negotiates with relevant tenderer.

●     Monitor in tendering process, review contract documents and letter of award.

●     Ensure all contractual matters and requirements of on-going project are in compliance and focus on VO and EOT.

●     Reviewing all documentations, monitoring and overseeing the overall implementation of the project.

●     Prepare minutes of coordination meeting and advise on the monthly progress report.

●     Prepare monthly financial report based on actual and projection.

●     Reviewing all documentations, monitoring and overseeing the overall implementation of the project.

●     Ensure that the project is carried out according to established engineering and commercial practices.

●     Evaluating and preparation of evaluation report and preparation of necessary documents for awarding of contract.

●     Evaluate tenders and quotations, and preparation of paperwork for recommendation.

●     Prepare and finalise the final accounts.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

●     Able to work within tight deadline.

●     Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimum supervision.

●     Computer literacy and excellent communication skills are essential.

BUILDING SURVEYOR

●     Bachelor Degree in Geomatics, Surveying or equivalent Board approved qualification

●     Articleship or trainee period under a Licensed Land Surveyor (LLS) or equivalent with both field & office exposure. A registered land surveyor of the Land Surveyors Board Malaysia (LJT) can be acquired. At least 2 years experienced, with minimum periods in cadastral (boundary/title) surveys, field work, and office tasks.

●     Intermediate to advanced skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

● years of experience in the requirement field is an added advantage.

●     Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering or equivalent Discipline from recognised university.

●     Able to work within tight deadline.
