DUTIES &RESPONSIBILITIES

2.1 To greet customers during the event phase and hands-off to the Banquet Operations team for the execution of details.

2.2 To act as liaison between sales person and customer throughout the event process (Pre-event, post-event).

2.3 Ensure associates understand expectations and parameters for event activities.

2.4 To adhere to all standards, policies and procedures.

2.5 To ensure billing accuracy and conducts bill reviews with the guest prior to processing the final bill.

2.6 To lead formal pre-event meetings for average sized assigned groups when absent of DOS.

2.7 To manage group room blocks and meeting space for average to large sized assigned groups.

2.8 To set a positive example for guest relations.

2.9 To coordinate and communicate event details both verbally and in writing to the customer and hotel operations.

2.10 To make presence known to customer at all times during this process.

2.11 To oversee customer experience from file turnover through the post event phase until turnover back to sales.

2.12 To follow up with customer post-event.

2.13 To respond and handles guest problems and complaints.

2.14 To stay available to solve problems and/or suggest alternatives to previous arrangements.

2.15 To identify operational challenges associated with the group and determines how to best work with the hotel associates and guest to solve these challenges and/or develop alternative solutions.

2.16 To emphasize guest satisfaction during all department meetings and focuses on continuous improvement.

2.17 To interact with guests to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels.

2.18 To work with the hotel associates and customers to address operational challenges associated with your group.

2.19 To participate in guest site inspections and assists with the sales process as necessary.

2.20 To ensure projects and assignments under Wrike are constantly updated within the stipulated time frame.

2.21 To be cross trained/seconded to other departments as assigned from time to time by the superior.

2.22 To undertake any other additional duties as assigned by the DOS/GM.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM2,000.00 per month
