About the role

We are seeking an experienced Legal / Conveyancing Assistant to join our growing team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full-time position, and you will play a crucial role in supporting our legal and conveyancing operations.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist the legal team in drafting, reviewing and managing various legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments
  • Coordinate and communicate with clients, external parties, and other stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of legal and conveyancing matters
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and filing systems for legal documents and correspondence
  • Provide administrative support to the legal team, including scheduling meetings, organising documents, and handling correspondence

What we're looking for

  • At least 1 year of experience as a Legal / Conveyancing Assistant or in a similar role
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients and stakeholders
  • Proficient in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A team player with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
