The Production Team Leader is responsible for overseeing daily operations of a designated plastic production line to ensure efficient manufacturing processes, quality standards, and compliance. The role involves leading a team of operators, coordinating production schedules, and ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and Health & Safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of production line workers.
  • Monitor line performance to ensure production targets, quality standards, and timelines are met.
  • Ensure compliance.
  • Conduct daily pre-operational checks and verify line readiness.
  • Train and coach operators on procedures, safety, and operational tasks.
  • Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and escalate major concerns to maintenance.
  • Record and report production data, downtime, and material usage accurately.
  • Enforce company policies and promote a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
