Key Responsibilities:

1. Clinical Duties

  • Examine, diagnose, and manage patients according to clinical guidelines.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments in compliance with current medical standards.
  • Perform minor procedures and assist in emergency cases when required.
  • Review and follow up on patients' progress and update medical records accurately.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with medical ethics and confidentiality.

2. Administrative & Operational

  • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities.
  • Assist in managing clinical operations including patient flow and service efficiency.
  • Ensure medical equipment is well maintained and calibrated.
  • Support the management in policy implementation and compliance with MOH requirements.

3. Health Promotion & Education

  • Provide health education and counselling to patients.
  • Participate in health screening programs, talks, and community outreach when required.

4. Teamwork & Professionalism

  • Supervise and guide nurses, medical assistants, and support staff in clinical tasks.
  • Maintain good communication and teamwork within the clinic.
  • Uphold professional conduct and continuous self-development through CME programs.

Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Medical Degree (MBBS/MD or equivalent) recognized by the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC).
  • Valid APC (Annual Practicing Certificate) and full registration with MMC.
  • At least 1–2 years of clinical experience (experience in primary care is an advantage).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and make sound clinical decisions.
  • Willing to work on shifts, weekends, and public holidays (if required).
