About the role
As the Manager, Cards Usage and Partnerships at HSBC Bank Malaysia Berhad, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth and engagement of the bank's credit and debit card portfolio. Based in the vibrant city of Kuala Lumpur, this full-time position will see you collaborating closely with key internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that optimise card usage and strengthen valuable partnerships.
What you'll be doing
- Analysing card usage data and consumer insights to identify opportunities for increased card activation and spending
- Developing and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives to drive card adoption and usage
- Negotiating and managing partnerships with merchants, retailers, and other third-party organisations to deliver compelling value propositions for cardholders
- Monitoring and evaluating the performance of card usage and partnership programmes, making data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product, digital, and customer experience, to enhance the overall card proposition
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure HSBC's card offerings remain competitive and innovative
What we're looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a cards, payments, or partnership management role within the banking or financial services industry
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
- Proficiency in project management, with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and deliver results within tight deadlines
- Familiarity with digital and mobile payment technologies, as well as a good understanding of the Malaysian financial landscape
