Quality Management System (QMS)

  • Implement, maintain, and continuously improve QMS in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal company standards.
  • Ensure all manufacturing and engineering activities comply with organizational policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as process owner for compliance-related documentation, workflows, and change management.

Internal Audits, Risk Assessments & Non-Compliance Management

  • Plan, conduct, and lead internal compliance audits (ISO9001)
  • Identify gaps, risks, and deviations; drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
  • Lead root cause investigations for non-conformities and drive cross-functional problem-solving.
  • Ensure effective closure and verification of CAPA actions within defined timelines.
  • Support external, customer, or regulatory audits as subject matter expert.

Supplier Compliance & Sustainability Requirements

  • Evaluate and monitor supplier compliance against standards including RBA, EHS, labour and ethics, quality, cybersecurity, and counterfeit control.
  • Trigger supplier compliance surveys and analyze results using tools such as Power Automate or Power BI.
  • Provide compliance scorecards and present findings to suppliers; facilitate improvement actions.
  • Collaborate with Procurement, Engineering, and Quality teams on supplier qualification and ongoing compliance monitoring.

Training, Awareness & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct compliance and QMS training for employees and stakeholders.
  • Promote compliance awareness and support a culture of quality, ethics, and environmental responsibility.
  • Lead or support improvement projects, system enhancements, and digitalization initiatives related to compliance processes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Prepare compliance reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives involving product quality, engineering changes, or regulatory projects.
  • Perform any other compliance-related tasks assigned by management

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Material Science, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
  • Professional certifications in ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, RoHS/REACH, or EHS compliance are an added advantage.
  • Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage for communication with China-based counterparts.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of experience in compliance, quality systems, or regulatory affairs within manufacturing.
  • Experience handling RoHS/REACH, supplier compliance, or QMS audits strongly preferred.
  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing compliance programs.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, environmental compliance, supplier compliance standards (RBA, EHS, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
