Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented HR Onboarding Team Lead to oversee and streamline the end-to-end onboarding process for new hires. This role is crucial in ensuring a smooth, engaging, and compliant experience for new employees, while leading and mentoring a team of onboarding specialists to meet operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Part 1: Lead & Manage Team:

  • Supervise the HR onboarding team to ensure delivery of seamless onboarding processes.
  • Provide guidance, support, and training to team members to meet KPIs and SLAs.
  • Monitor team workload and productivity; provide regular performance feedback.

Part 2: Onboarding Operations:

  • Oversee the full onboarding cycle, including document collection, pre-employment checks, HRIS entry, induction coordination, and Day 1 readiness.
  • Ensure all onboarding activities comply with labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. Talent Acquisition, IT, Payroll, Operations) to deliver a consistent onboarding experience.

Part 3: Process Improvements:

  • Identify gaps and propose improvements to the onboarding framework, SOPs, and templates.
  • Implement automation or process enhancements to improve turnaround time and employee experience.

Part 4: Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the main point of contact for hiring managers and senior stakeholders on onboarding matters.
  • Provide timely updates and reports on onboarding status, risks, and resolutions.
  • Reporting & Compliance:
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records and trackers.
  • Generate dashboards and metrics for management review.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5-6 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of onboarding processes and employment compliance practices.
  • Experience with HRIS and onboarding systems
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
