Role Overview:
As a key member of our commercial team, you will drive business growth by championing our industrial gas solutions. Your mission will be to boost revenue, elevate customer experience, and grow our market presence through strategic promotion and relationship development. Success in this role requires a blend of market insight, proactive planning, and the ability to cultivate strong partnerships within the industrial gases sector.
Responsibilities:
Sales Execution:
Actively pursue new business opportunities by identifying potential clients and conducting outreach to develop leads.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to secure contracts and close deals.
Sales Strategy Development:
Develop and implement targeted sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
Identify new market opportunities and competitive tactics to inform business development initiatives.
Customer Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their business requirements and offering customized solutions.
Conduct regular meetings with customers to assess their needs, gather feedback, and identify potential growth opportunities.
Market Analysis:
Monitor industry trends, market developments, and competitive landscape to stay informed and maintain a strategic edge.
Provide insights and feedback to internal teams on customer needs and market conditions.
Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, technical support, and operations, to ensure alignment on sales initiatives and customer solutions.
Collaborate with product management to inform the development of products and services based on market needs.
Performance Tracking:
Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM tools.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and report findings to management, recommending actions for improvement.
Requirements:
Education
Possesses bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering or equivalent.
Working experience
Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in sales and/or business development in manufacturing industry. Experience in industrial gas manufacturing will be an added advantage.
Knowledge & Skills
Strong understanding of industrial gas products, application, and customer needs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability in delivering impactful presentations and leading successful negotiations.
- Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a focus on delivering exceptional customer value.
- Self-motivated with strong multitasking abilities and a positive, solution-oriented attitude.
- Proven ability to adapt quickly and embrace new learning opportunities.
- Proactive and adaptable professional who thrives both independently and in team environments, with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Highly organized with strong time management skills, a focus on execution, and keen attention to detail.
- Strong command of English, Mandarin and Bahasa Malaysia is essential. We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
- Possesses SAP knowledge & skill will be an added advantage.
- Demonstrates discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
Proficient in Microsoft Office productivity tools (e.g. Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
Language: We are seeking candidates proficient in both English and Mandarin to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
