About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive executive support to the Group General Manager of the Iconic Marjorie Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio in Bayan Lepas, Penang. This full-time role is a crucial bridge between the Group General Manager and the wider hotel operations, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to drive the strategic objectives of the business.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage the Group General Manager's diary and schedule, including arranging meetings, conferences and travel arrangements
  2. Prepare and distribute agendas, minutes and action items for all meetings
  3. Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion
  4. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on behalf of the Group General Manager
  5. Provide administrative support such as drafting correspondence, maintaining filing systems and coordinating office supplies
  6. Contribute to special projects and assist with ad hoc tasks as required

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years' experience as a Personal Assistant or Executive Assistant, ideally within the hospitality industry
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  3. Exceptional organizational and time management abilities with a keen eye for detail
  4. Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including advanced Excel skills
  5. Highly discreet and able to maintain confidentiality
  6. A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving
  7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
