About the Role

The position is primarily responsible for driving and facilitating the FCB Change Management Process in ensuring Finance Production Change Requests (PCR) for the Finance Application Systems and Business Processes are recorded, evaluated, authorized, prioritized, documented, and reviewed in a controlled manner to reduce risk associated with changes. The person should have a clear understanding of business needs, technical development, and support functions.

As a Lead Specialist - Change Management (Finance), you will have the outstanding opportunity to drive and facilitate our Finance Change Board (FCB) Change Management Process, ensuring the successful implementation of changes to our Finance Application Systems and Business Processes.

  1. Drive and facilitate Finance Change Board (FCB) Change Management Process ensuring changes are recorded, evaluated, authorized, prioritized, detailed, and reviewed in a controlled manner to reduce risk.
  2. Assist FCB in evaluating proposed changes in terms of benefits, costs, risks, and implications for overall Finance systems and business processes.
  3. Gatekeeper ensuring local changes align with group-wide data models, business processes, and systems across the organization.
  4. Accountable for assigning PCRs to the respective Group Business Analyst and following up on status for discussion in the FCB meeting.
  5. Own and update all documentation related to FCB Change Management Standard and its supporting documents.
  6. Update PCR status and priority in the Production Change Request (PCR) Platform (web-based workflow approval system).
  7. Handle the Production Change Request (PCR) Platform, including system monitoring and bug fixing, and update user access rights.
  8. Ensure smooth communication between internal and external parties involved during change request evaluation discussions.
  9. Responsible for governance including gate reviews, quality control, and compliance to standards of the PCRs/Change Requests for audit purposes.
  10. Accountable for all administrative functions associated with FCB meetings, including maintaining schedules, preparing agendas, and updating relevant documents.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Business (Accounting/Accountancy/Finance) or equivalent (e.g., ACCA, CPA, ICAEW).
  • 3-5 years working in Accounts or Finance within a Shared Services or MNC environment.
  • Proven understanding of Accounting or Finance Application/System improvement processes involving IT Change Requests.
  • Experience in managing multiple teams and delivering sophisticated project scopes.
  • High level of communication skills to various stakeholders; both oral and written skills are essential.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Outlook, etc., for correspondence and presentations.

  • Change Request Management (CR)
  • Finance system landscape

Knowledge of any of the following is an added advantage:

  • SAP System and its applications
  • Spend Management Systems (e.g., Ariba, Concur)
  • Inter-bank setups (e.g., SWIFT)
  • Power-Platform or Power Apps
