  • Position Summary

Purpose


As directed by Operations Manager, coordinate the personnel allocation/utilization as required to support the specific job activities not covered or within the present skills and knowledge of Global Mobility.


Coordinates the onshore preparation, repair and maintenance of all Subsea Robotics equipment to include Remotely Operated Vehicles, RWOCS and IWOCS Systems, Subsea Tooling including all skid systems and Deepwater Installation equipment to include systems such as Reel and Tensioner Systems as directed by Operations Manager.


  • Duties & Responsibilities

Functions

  • In conjunction with Global Mobility, locates personnel as required to manned specific Subsea Robotics and OPG offshore activities outside of the normal day to day support requirements.
  • Coordinates with Training to identify and provide all offshore personnel training, regulatory compliance and competency.
  • Organizes teams in support of operational excellence initiatives as directed by Operations Manager.
  • Participates in all HSE, Quality and Operational Excellence initiatives.
  • Coordinate the implementation of all equipment technical updates.
  • Maintain necessary tools and equipment required to execute equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Verify that maintenance standards comply with Oceaneering maintenance standards, manufacturer recommendations and regulatory requirements and periodic certifications.
  • Assist Equipment Manager with inventory of system components and subcomponents.
  • Verifies accurate asset allocation.
  • Coordinate equipment technician assignments to meet business needs.
  • Assist in provision of data for equipment readiness reports, repair summaries and other reports as required.
  • Participate in and insures all technicians and subcontractors follow all Oceaneering HSE Programs.
  • Assist in supervision of any subcontract personnel as required

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
  • Qualifications

Qualifications (Requires Regional Variance)

REQUIRED

  • Preferred High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED), Business degree, significant or equivalent Industry experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Three (3) years Oilfield experience to include at least one year of personnel logistics experience.

DESIRED
Bachelor Science or Business Administration Degree

Working Conditions (Requires Regional Variance)**This position is considered OFFICE WORK which is characterized as follows:
  • Almost exclusively indoors during the day and occasionally at night.
  • Occasional exposure to airborne dust in the workplace.
  • Work surface is stable (flat).
