Job Scope:

  • To manage and maintain assigned subsidiaries' financial and management accounts involved in property development.
  • To be responsible and accountable in producing timely full set of accounts and prepare monthly management reports independently.
  • To coordinate and update the Group's cashflow forecast report on a biweekly basis and profit & loss position on a monthly basis for upper management use by collecting and input data which include cash collections, payments and billings from the respective business units.
  • To carry out bank reconciliation, creditors and debtors' reconciliation for Superior to approve.
  • To update accounting records with proper documentation, and ensure proper safekeeping of accounting records and filing system.
  • To check and verify official receipts, payment vouchers and IBG/cheques issued to ensure expenses are properly posted into accounting system and IBGs/cheques are prepared accurately.
  • To ensure AP, AR, FA transactions and Journal Entries are checked, properly supported and approved and thereafter promptly and accurately keyin into the accounting system.
  • To prepare the tax schedule, attend tax queries, manage the monthly income tax computation, deferred taxation and tax estimation, ensuring timely submission of all statutory tax requirements.
  • To coordinate yearend audit, draft and finalise the audit report and financial statement.
  • To assist in the preparation of yearly budget.
  • To ensure compliance with all Company's policies and procedures, statutory requirements, accounting standards, tax law and adhere to the procedures and discretionary authority limits.
  • To maintain and control petty cash and reimbursement, bank accounts, cheques, cheque books, and overdraft facilities and including departmental usage of office equipment and stationery (rotational basis).
  • To update daily cash position of the assigned subsidiaries.
  • To provide support to the Group reporting related to all financial matters related to the assigned subsidiary financials.

Job requirement:

  • Degree & Professional Qualification in Accountancy, Finance or related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in accounting / finance role in property development & construction industries.
  • Language(s) required: Mandarin, English & Bahasa Malaysia.
  • Knowledge in statutory and regulatory requirements, and guidelines on property development.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications.
  • Meticulous and independent
  • Able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Adaptable and flexible to meet organisational requiremen

Job Types:

RM4, RM5,300.00 per month

  • Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
