This role reports to the Regional Finance Director, Asia Pacific.

The key roles and responsibilities are as follow:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Updating of journal entries on daily basis to the closing of accounts.
  • Assisting in getting the accounting transactions and reports to be updated in our accounting system SAP.
  • Checking weekly payments before approval for payment in accordance with the guidelines.
  • Cash flow forecasts and monitoring and issuing banking instruction letters for loan drawdown, rollover or repayment after consent in order to meet the payment funding requirements.
  • Handling SAP system issues, initiate contracts, set up and review of reports & etc.
  • Ensuring timely submission of local GAAP and US GAAP monthly financial statements and liaison with international accounting department is required.
  • Prepare local management accounts for external audit purpose and in liaison with the auditors for schedules and audit evidence process.
  • Assisting in preparing tax analysis for tax agent in order to meet the deadline for submission of annual tax return to the authority.
  • Verify staff claims to ensure it is consistent with the Company's policy.
  • Assisting with any finance and accounting matter as requested including adhoc reports, analysis and involvements/leading projects as required.
  • Other tasks or assignments required from time to time by the Management.

From RM5,000.00 per month

Education:

  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:

  • Excel, SAP knowledge: 4 years (preferred)
  • Accounting: 4 years (preferred)
  • Strong accounting concepts and knowledge are prerequisite: 4 years (preferred)
- good inter-personal, analytical and problem-solving skills: 4 years (preferred)

  • Ability to work independently: 4 years (preferred)
