Job Summary

The Internal Manager of the Ballet Academy is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the internal operations of the academy, ensuring smooth day-to-day functioning.

They will work closely with the Artistic Director, Pricipal and other staff members to support the academy's mission of providing high-quality ballet training to students.

The Internal Manager will handle administrative tasks, assist with curriculum development, and maintain effective communication within the academy.

Responsibilities

Operational Management

  • Ensure the smooth operation of the academy by coordinating and overseeing daytoday activities.
  • Develop and implement efficient operational processes to optimize resource utilization.
  • Monitor and evaluate internal procedures to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Assign tasks, set deadlines, and ensure staff members complete their responsibilities effectively.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.

Administrative Support

  • Manage administrative tasks such as scheduling, recordkeeping, and correspondence.
  • Coordinate logistics for ballet classes, rehearsals, performances, and special events.
  • Maintain accurate student records, enrollment information, and attendance records.

Curriculum Assistance

  • Collaborate with the Artistic Director in developing and implementing the ballet curriculum.
  • Assist in organizing and scheduling ballet classes, workshops, and other events.
  • Coordinate the selection and ordering of ballet training materials and resources.

Communications and Coordination

  • Foster effective communication and collaboration among academy staff, students, and parents.
  • Serve as a point of contact for inquiries regarding the academy's programs and activities.

Team Support

  • Provide support to faculty members, assisting with scheduling, communication, and resources.
  • Assist in the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding of new staff members when necessary.
  • Foster a positive and supportive team environment within the academy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Dance, Arts Administration, Business or a related field.
  • Knowledge and experience in dance education and production/event management is a plus.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and technology for administrative tasks.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.


The Internal Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the Ballet Academy, supporting the faculty, students, and overall artistic vision.

Salary:
RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
