Job Description:

1. Recruit, train and develop Sales Team, Boutique Manager and store teams as well as lead the ecommerce team. Function as a resource and leader providing product, sales & customer service expertise.

2. Generates ideas about future sales activities to ensure a cutting-edge strategy; maintains up to date knowledge of the retail sector, competitors and trends.

3. Strategize with Sales Team and Store Managers to develop & execute store action plans to drive store productivity.

4. Uses open feedback mechanisms from the retail operations team with other departments to ensure the integration of the retail strategy with Hegira's other activities.

5. Constantly reviews financial data and supports the Sales Team & Boutique Manager in providing realistic input into the sales budgets.

6. Takes decisions on matters relating to the day-to-day retail operation within their defined work area, including the strategic planning of resources.

7. Translates the strategic goals into retail operational plans to achieve the required targeted growth in sales and profit; identifies and optimizes promotional opportunities ensuring these are coordinated with wider Hegira promotions and campaigns.

8. Ensures that the retail operations comply to all policies and procedures relating to operations, security, health and safety; influences any changes necessary to meet statutory requirements, ensuring minimum risk to staff members and the business.

9. Develop new retail boutique opening strategy & conduct feasibility studies on new business development proposal; Ensures all new boutique proposals meet the required return on sales prior to submitting any recommendations; all new boutique locations must be visited to ensure they will trade effectively and meet the proposed budgets.

10. Responsible in setting up annual sales targets, product ordering and sell-through to meet the financial & business target.

11. Continuously improves operational performance in stores while considering consistency and the needs of the total store. Actively seeks, identifies and implements internal and external operational best practices.

12. Spends time in boutique with retail boutique teams and customers to understand and identify business critical issues in order to ensure the alignment of tactics and strategies; maintains the corporate identity of Hegira in all boutiques and related initiatives.

13. Responsible in franchise development in identifying potential retail markets to expand franchise business and develop franchise business plans.

Job Type: Full-time
