Role & Responsibilities

  • Independently execute sales activities to achieve targets and objectives.
  • Identify and acquire new clients through various channels such as direct contact, wordofmouth, social media platforms, and collaboration with the marketing department.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and expand business opportunities.
  • Conduct regular market research and competitor analysis to identify potential threats and opportunities for business growth.
  • Actively participate in networking activities to research and establish connections with potential clients, industry influencers, and key stakeholders.
  • Organize and oversee showroom events to cultivate and strengthen relationships with clients and culinary professionals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to enhance brand visibility and generate new leads.
  • Proactively maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
  • Recommend and propose upgrades or additional products and services based on client needs and preferences.
  • Lead negotiations with clients to secure favorable terms and pricing agreements.
  • Analyze and incorporate client feedback to drive continuous improvement and enhance overall customer experience.
  • Prepare and deliver insightful sales reports, forecasts, and presentations to senior management, highlighting key performance metrics and actionable insights.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and consumer behavior to anticipate market shifts and ensure the relevance of our product offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with crossfunctional teams including marketing, product development, and customer service to align sales strategies and enhance overall business performance.

Qualifications:

  • At least 10 years sales experience in Food Service or HoReCa Industry.
  • Proven track record of success in sales, with demonstrated experience in acquiring new clients and managing client relationships.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and build rapport with diverse audiences.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion skills, with a keen eye for identifying opportunities to add value for clients.
  • Highly organized with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Possess own transport and willing to travel within Malaysia
    .
  • Must be able to speak fluent Mandarin,English and Malay languages

Work arrangements
Onsite, based in Bukit Mertajam. You are required to travel within the whole northern region, for example, from Perak to Kedah. 70% of the time you will be travelling. Target customers are from horeca(Hotel, Restaurant, and Café/Catering) industries, kitchen hotel hospital canteen, etc.

What does success look like for this role?

  • Basic: RM5000
  • RM6000
  • Est Salary (Basic + Commission): RM10k+
  • First year allowance: RM2000 or the salary difference to RM10k, whichever is lower
  • Monthly payout.
