You will be responsible for managing a rolling 0-to-5-year activities pipeline providing SC Johnson with superior products; a continuous cadence of base business news; claims leadership; and a robust technology roadmap for key battleground forms under their accountability.

You will be expected to lead and maintain a highly capable, curious, and engaged team, ensure latest science & technology knowledge is harvested and applied with urgency and robustness.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop those in reporting organization through training opportunities, coaching, and performance management practices including conducting annual performance reviews, management succession, and development activities
  • Ensure project staffing with the right capability and resources (people, tools, equipment, and budget) to drive business results
  • Leverage business, market, and category acumen to optimize business results, build and provide deep technical knowledge, business context, and competitive set information to drive robust project execution decisions
  • Collaborate with business partners to deliver aligned cost savings and profitability goals while maintaining product quality and consumer experience
  • Drive alignment and enrollment to a course of action among key crossfunctional peers in R&D, Commercial Marketing, Finance, etc.
  • Identify, develop, and recommend new and improved global offerings in existing categories, formats, and brands that lead to profitable growth ideation to launch
  • Execute the aligned cadence of Delivered Profit improvement and Value Add to achieve top line growth and bottomline profitability as well as identify and escalate issues to senior management as needed to ensure transparency and project success
  • Develop and execute costsavings, project prioritization, and other technically driven product changes; deliver commitments with budget and aligned timing expectations
  • Demonstrate strong R&D functional skills, including effective communication, financial acumen, integrated risk management, project management, quality, robustness, regulation & safety, scientific rigor, and technical curiosity

Required Skills / Experience / Competencies:

  • Bachelor's in packaging engineering, chemical engineering, or other relevant disciplines
  • Minimum 7 to 8 years' experience in the development and commercialization of consumer product goods, or project management, preferably from Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry
  • Experience in strategic product development which include set technical, product strategy, new product roadmap
  • Demonstrated people management and leadership skills to lead a team
  • Project Management and/or Lean/Six-Sigma certification would be added advantage
