Job Scope:


To provide support in the design and implementation of compliance programs and procedures to ensure that the Business conduct their business operations ethically and in accordance with applicable local laws, regulations, guidelines and Group compliance standards.


Key responsibilities:

  • Manage and execute the implementation of compliance program i.e. Regulatory Requirements Self Attestation (RRSA). This activity shall include but not limited to
i. ensuring accurate tagging of all regulations/guidelines to the applicable Business Units (BU);
ii. engaging relevant PICs at the Business Units as part of the process to identify the applicable BU to a certain regulation/guidelines

iii. address and execute the enhancement of the RRSA system and process, if required

  • Support on any regulatory compliance issues as they arise.
  • Compliance reporting to Executive Risk Committee, Board Audit Committee, Group Head Office
  • Occasionally, support/perform other activities/assignment of the regulatory compliance team as may be required

a. Qualifications
Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Business, or other related discipline.

b. Experience


At least 5 years' experience in compliance, audit, legal or a regulatory compliance related role; related working experience in insurance or banking would be an advantage.


c. Knowledge
Good knowledge of regulatory guidelines governing the insurance industry or banking or other related financial services.

  • Good knowledge of insurance or banking or other related financial services operations.
  • Experience in compliance risk management
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and manage stakeholders
  • Ability to recommend a pragmatic approach for problem solving
  • Ability to work in a demanding and collaborative environment

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
Up to RM10,000.00 per month
