Responsibility:

  • Attend preevent meetings host by Sales
  • Coordinate preevent briefing with other department
  • Ensures all functions are set and staff is prepared and organized before required time on BEO
  • Assisting with event preparation, set up, and closing, including setting up and packing away tables, table cloths and place settings, and buffets
  • Supervises clearing and post function cleanup and garbage removal
  • Maintains clean and orderly back areas, prefunction areas and storage areas
  • Supervises the handling, storage, and security of all catering service equipment and decor
  • Dress in accordance with event guidelines
  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests
  • Anticipate guests' needs and exceed customer service expectations
  • Assist in F&B Outlet by taking orders, preparing & serving food and beverages.
  • Directing guests to necessary services and features, and leading guests on tours of the location
  • Supporting other staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • Adhering to safety and quality regulations
  • Maintain a high level of cleanliness and awareness of sanitary practices
  • Respond urgently and appropriately to any concerns
  • Work all assigned shift unless approved by management
  • Attends weekly meeting to evaluate strategies and ideas for enhancement to benefit the guest experience
  • Reviews scheduling and labor needs to meet the guests needs as well as maximize efficiency
  • Prepares summary of events, report, work schedule, checklist and other documentation as required

Requirement:

  • Some education or experiences in hospitality (banquet or F&B preferred)
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Courteous and attentive to guests
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job, staying on your feet, climbing stairs, carrying heavyweights
  • Ability to work as part of a team and follow instructions
  • Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand and walk for 10+ hours
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have a flexible schedule, be highly motivated and quality driven
  • Detail oriented yet able to excel while multitasking
  • Able to accept responsibility and lead by example
