Job Summary:
The Duty Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of Lilla Rainforest Resort.

This role involves managing and coordinating various departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences, as well as handling any guest concerns or issues that may arise during their stay.

The Duty Manager is expected to provide leadership, maintain a high level of guest satisfaction, and support the resort's staff.


Key Responsibilities:

1.

Guest Services:

Ensure outstanding guest service and satisfaction by interacting with guests and addressing their needs and concerns.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.
Assist in resolving any escalated issues or conflicts to maintain guest satisfaction.

2.

Operational Oversight:


Coordinate with various departments, including front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance, to ensure efficient and smooth daily operations.

Monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the resort.
Supervise and support resort staff during their shifts, providing guidance and assistance as needed.

3.

Scheduling and Staff Management:

Manage staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts and departments.
Conduct staff briefings and meetings to communicate important information and updates.
Assist in staff training and development, and provide feedback to enhance employee performance.

4.

Safety and Security:

Ensure the safety and security of guests and staff by following and enforcing safety protocols and emergency procedures.
Handle any security or safety incidents in a professional and efficient manner.

5.

Administrative Tasks:

Complete daily reports and documentation related to guest issues, operations, and incidents.
Assist in managing inventory and supplies to ensure smooth operations.
Collaborate with the General Manager on budget management and cost control.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in the hospitality industry, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving abilities.
  • Leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle challenging situations with composure.
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and systems is a plus.
  • Understanding of safety and security protocols.
