We are looking for our Account and Admin Assistantto join our accounting department.

You will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations including managing job cost attributes in our ERP, responding to customer/supplier payment issues, and providing/reviewing financial statement disclosures related to our company's design & build / construction activities.


Job Tasks and Responsibilities

General Accounting
Manage the administration and daily operations of accounting department and handle full or partial set of accounts and general accounting duties

Sales & Purchases:_ Ensure account receivables/payable are up to date with proper bookkeeping recorded

  • Ensure proper recording on accounts transactions, accounting software technical assistances, and tallying accounts monthly
  • Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including payroll, purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.

Banking and Cash Management:_ Bank reconciliation, cash flow management of overall finance department

  • Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances

Studio / Office Administration

  • Work closely with Design Manager and Studio Manager for overall office administration
  • Perform adhoc & other officerelated duties as required by the supervisor

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree/Professional Degree in Accountancy and/or Business is required. Professional certificates or equivalent is preferred
  • At least 2 (two) years of progressive accounting experience is required
  • Knowledge in QuickBooks accounting system
  • Knowledge in relevant financial / accounting rules and regulations in Malaysia
  • Experience in job cost accounting and financial reporting is preferred
  • Can work in a fastpaced environment. Industry experience in Construction Management / General Contracting or Subcontractor will be an added advantage
  • Tech savvy and Computer literate (Microsoft 365, Google Suite, Slack)
  • Amenable to working in Kuala Lumpur office
  • Language communications: English, Malay
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, 9AM to 6PM
