Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to oversee all financial aspects of our operations.
The Finance Manager will play a critical role in financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support strategic decision-making and ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis reports.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and regulatory filings.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of monthend and yearend closing processes, including reconciliations and financial reporting.
- Handle full set accounts and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Oversee tax planning and compliance activities to minimize tax liabilities and risks.
- Monitor cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to support operational needs and investment decisions.
- Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
- Collaborate with senior management to evaluate investment opportunities and strategic initiatives.
- Establish and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; MBA or professional certification (MIA) preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling and Microsoft Excel.
