About the Job


The Business Development Manager for the Lube Department will oversee the expansion and execution of sales growth strategies within the industry.

Their primary goal is to increase revenue, gross profits, and customer satisfaction by cultivating strong relationships with key industry clients and delivering exceptional value-added services.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities for expanding market coverage and promoting our rerefined petroleum products.
  • Develop and implement new business strategies to drive continuous revenue and profit growth.
  • Acquire indepth knowledge of all company products and services.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including Operations, Business Development, and After Sales, to develop and execute strategic plans to achieve short and longterm objectives.
  • Utilize industry expertise to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers.
  • Negotiate with clients to secure competitive pricing agreements.
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients to ensure their retention.
  • Participate in external networking events to connect with potential clients.
  • Gather and analyze client feedback, implementing necessary changes to improve satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about market trends and industry product developments to ensure our offerings remain relevant and competitive.
  • Prepare and submit daily activity reports as required by management.
  • Provide timely sales reports and forecasts, offering insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Undertake any adhoc tasks as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Experiences Needed

  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a relevant field.
  • Ideally, have prior experience in business development within industries such as Petrochemical, Oil & Gas, Building Materials, Manufacturing, or similar sectors.
  • Demonstrated negotiation and interpersonal abilities are essential. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Exhibit high motivation and proactivity in prospecting and identifying market opportunities.
  • Possess the capability to cultivate positive relationships with individuals across various organizational levels.
  • Own transportation is required, and a willingness to travel extensively within Malaysia, including international travel, is necessary (minimum 90%)

Pay:
RM6, RM8,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
