We are looking for a proactive and highly ambitious Category Manager who will contribute to the e-commerce acceleration of our brands and e-commerce stores.

Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO), you will be responsible for managing a team, strategizing and executing for sales growth, and building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

You will be the lead point of contact for your team, the operations team, and C-levels.

Furthermore, you will be responsible for all key client matters, anticipate the client's needs, work within the company to ensure deadlines for the client are met, and facilitate the success of clients and our team.


Roles and Responsibilities

  • Managing a team of Key Account Executives and Junior Operators
  • Developing a solid and trusting relationship with key brands under our portfolio
  • Resolving key client issues and complaints
  • Developing a complete understanding of key account ecommerce needs
  • Anticipating key account changes and improvements for the advancement of their ecommerce business
  • Managing communications between key clients and internal teams
  • Stakeholder management between key brands and ecommerce platforms
  • Strategic planning and execution to improve client's ecommerce results
  • Working with design, sales team, creative, advertising, logistics, managers, marketing, and team members from other departments dedicated to the same client account to ensure all client needs are met
  • Planning and presenting reports on account progress, goals, and quarterly initiatives to share with team members, stakeholders, and possible use in future case studies or company training
  • Meeting all client needs and deliverables according to proposed timelines
  • Expanding relationships and bringing in new clients

Preferred Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, sales, or relevant field preferred
  • Preferably 35 years' experience in ecommerce, sales, marketing, business development, or similar fields of work, with preference for people management experience.
  • Basic computer skills, and experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on good Excel skills.

Salary:
RM2, RM9,008.76 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Shah Alam: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)

  • Ecommerce: 3 years (required)
