You will ensure the effectiveness and integrity of country Payroll & Time and Attendance (TAA) in compliance with PPG company policies, and local statutory requirements.

You will lead the country payroll team and act as an expert of payroll & TAA local requirements, as a trusted partner in providing guidance and consultation to people leaders and employees in completing the payroll & TAA processes and be a reliable collaborator that empowers HRBP's, COEs and PPSC with country specific local Payroll & TAA processes, benefits, onboarding, and training.

You will report directly to Payroll & TAA Leader APAC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure payroll is processed in an accurate and compliant incountry and PPG requirements.
  • Primary contact for handling and resolving payroll production and payroll related concerns.
  • Daily operations supervision and development of payroll staff.
  • Improve stakeholder experience by improving processes linked to Payroll & TAA administration.
  • Stay current with payroll and tax law for the countries that are managed and any payroll issues.
  • Maintain audit ready controls for all processes across my team/organization.
  • Responsible for all internal and external payroll & TAA related audits (e.g., SOX audits, labor and government audits).
  • Ensure existence of all SOP's & DTP's for main payroll processes and review on regular basis.
  • Oversee ServiceNow cases to ensure accurate completion within the time given.
  • Annual and periodic reviews and employee feedback sessions.
  • Communicate updates, systems and business changes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Possessed minimum bachelor's degree in business administration or relevant background.
  • Minimum 5+ years' experience of local Payroll & TAA with minimum 13 years ́ experience of people management.
  • Familiarity with Payroll & TAA legislation and knowledge of Payroll & TAA processing with total accuracy.
  • Proficiently dissect intricate data sets to identify gaps, inconsistency, and errors.
  • Experience working in a similar service environment and managing projects with successful results.
  • Experience using Quality tools to ensure functionality of payroll processes.
  • Experience working with stakeholders in different countries and locations.
  • Portray high level of integrity and unwavering confidentiality protocols.
