- What you will do:
- The key objective of this role is to strategize and improve creating & evaluating content and delivery.-
- Identifies content creation, for which audience, to meet which objectives, and with what projected results.-
- Setting guidelines for the tone, style, and voice of all brand content from pre-production.-
- Setting editorial strategy so content is consistent and compelling across all delivery streams.-
- To promote, publicize and ensure extensive coverage for all films produced or co-produced by ASHW;-
- To strategize, develop, plan, and manage all online/new media marketing campaigns for Astro Shaw's films and the company including, but not limited to, social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and wechat, effectively driving brand awareness, engagement and traffic to social media pages;-
- To manage, strategize, and manage Astro Shaw website(s) to maximize the publicity for each film and to strategize monetization plans via VOD, store, and distribution.-
- Achieve a strong, visible social media presence and develop concepts with viral potential. Continuously monitor online public relations and ensure the success of ASHW's programs;-
- Assess social media marketing strategies to determine the rate of return. Identity and tap into new channels to optimize ROI and fuel revenue growth;-
- Managing the new media and online budget as indicated by the AVP and completing all documentation and paperwork required for the department-
- To assist in the creation and implementation of all marketing and PR plans for the company that will make an impact, support the brand and products, and drive sales-
- Producing innovative and cost-effective promotions both through traditional and non-traditional plans-
- To assist in all public relations activities for the division and products of the division-
- Participate and assist in all ground events and management of cast and press-
- Developing and maximizing third party relationships to deliver on brand objectives and strategies-
- To assist in the planning, creation, and implementation of sponsorship plans-
- Assisting in research, market analysis, and communications research for the company;-
- Execute and track the success of marketing operations throughout the company, whether it be exhibitions, trade shows, launches, or previews.
REQUIREMENTS:
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism or a related field.
- Minimum 1 years of experience as a content strategist or similar role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malay with a strong command of grammar and language suited for the local market
- Demonstrated ability to create highquality, engaging, SEOfriendly content across digital and print platforms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Time and project management skills, including the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time.
- An analytical mindset with a creative mind to interpret data and metrics and optimize content performance.
- Cultural understanding and sensitivity to tailor content to our target audience's preferences, interests, and nuances.
- Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and communicate recommendations to executives
- Experience in identifying target audiences and devising effective campaigns
- Datadriven thinking and an affinity for numbers with outstanding communication skills.
- Uptodate with the latest trends and marketing best practices
