Global Service Desk Executive

SUMMARY OF THE ROLE
This position will be reporting to the Global Service Desk Team Lead and will be based in Glenmarie, Shah Alam.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible to send out daily operational updates during the shift to GSD team members and the management team.
- To ensure that all user communications is managed in a professional, courteous and timely manner.
- To ensure all incidents are properly logged, identified, prioritized, resolved and tracked within the company's service desk tool
- Escalate unsolved incidents to second line support.
- Assist with the resolution and take proactive steps to keep customers informed.
- Provide ongoing updates for process and procedure improvements.
- Participate in continuous improvement programs for problem handling and incident management.
- To highlight obsolete information / updates and improvement on GSD documentation
- Involved in segregation and following up interaction queue on daily basis.
- Proactive monitoring such as SCOM (Global Servers), TATA (SEAP Network), IFS print (Global servers) and GSD mailboxes (GSD reporting tool) to avoid impacting business and ensure operation run smoothly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree with minimum 13 years of IT experience.
- Must be proficient in verbal and written English
