  • Work as a key member of the Commercial Team, ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative processes to support departmental objectives;
  • Perform general office duties with precision, including accurate collation and storage of essential information;
  • Compile and maintain commercial files, including generating reports sourced from information provided by the Commercial Team and databases;
  • Solicit and obtain quotations from suppliers for site office setup requirements;
  • Negotiate prices, terms and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms for the company;
  • Prepare purchase orders and meticulously verify suppliers' delivery orders/ invoices, quantities, unit prices and goods details;
  • Proactively address and resolve any issues that may arise with suppliers or vendors;
  • Conduct thorough comparative analyses of suppliers' prices to optimize procurement decisions;
  • Track orders closely and oversee their timely delivery to meet project requirements;
  • Maintain uptodate records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices for easy retrieval and reference;
  • Liaise closely with the Finance Department to monitor payment statuses and ensure timely processing;
  • Coordinate effectively with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage and inventory management;
  • Ensures the accurate processing of assigned clients' orders, adhering to quality standards and timelines.

Requirements:

  • Degree/ Diploma in any discipline or equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in procurement or office administration, preferably within the construction industry;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams);
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders;
  • Exceptional organizational abilities and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously;
  • Proven problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure in a fastpaced environment;
  • Selfmotivated with a proactive approach to tasks and responsibilities.

RM2, RM3,000.00 per month
