The Applications Service Delivery Manager manages processes that are on track for the consistent delivery of end-to-end customer-driven solutions in an effective and cost-efficient manner.

The Service Delivery Manager's job embraces both administrative and technical roles in these areas:

  • Vendor and Contract Management to confirm all IT Applications related contractual documentation and maintenance support agreements are in order and renewed regularly to ensure service uptime support is available.
  • Managing the annual internal and external Audit deliverables from the IT Applications' areas to ensure good audit outcomes
  • Managing the smooth execution of BAU (businessasusual) activities related to Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery Live runs, Audits.
  • Managing the endtoend completion for annual and/or adhoc Technical Risk Assessments for the IT Applications estate or new projects where applicable, for e.g. Penetration tests
  • Participating role in readying IT Applications requirements and proposal assessments for company Tender/RFP preparations.
  • Ensure all Contract of Services Agreements for IT Applications developers are in order and renewed annually on schedule with complete documentation.
  • Endtoend Project Management for selected projects assigned to her.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Implement and improve process controls to enhance efficient and effectiveness, including creation, review and update of IT Applications SOPs, PM, SDLC frameworks and any other pertinent documentation.
  • Project Management
  • Participate in internal and external Application Audits, managing the audit process and ensuring closure of all audit findings.
  • Assist in the preparation of Application system contracts and renewals, ensuring all necessary documentation is in order
  • Contribute to IT Request for Proposal (RFP) preparation and evaluation, focusing on technicalrelated aspects
  • Plan meetings and take detailed minutes, ensuring accurate documentation of discussions, action items, and project updates.
  • Update the Master Plan for BAU Projects and IT Projects, including timeline preparation and UAT support
  • Manage Technical Risk Assessment (TRA) for projects
  • Maintain a comprehensive filing system for all Application documentation, ensuring easy access and retrieval of information
  • Create spreadsheets and presentations as needed to support the Application team and effectively present information

Education/Work Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in understanding of IT project lifecycle, software development lifecycle and daily operations
  • Hands on experience with MS Office
  • Word, Excel, Powerpoint.
  • Hands on experience with MS Project (preferably)
  • Ability to develop a comprehensive understanding of company business, market, industry and relate that knowledge to identified operations and Applicationrelated risks.

Knowledge/Skills

  • Familiar with a project of software development life cycle knowledge is an added advantage
