We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Cuisine to join our team and work closely with our kitchen chef in the development and preparation of menu items.

As the Chef de Cuisine, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all kitchen staff uphold our executive chef's standards, delivering consistent and high-quality dishes to our customers.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Take full responsibility for the operation and cleanliness of the kitchen department.
  • Lead menu setting and costing initiatives, ensuring profitability and customer satisfaction.
  • Control and monitor the ordering of goods and raw materials, optimizing inventory levels.
  • Source for highquality ingredients at costeffective prices, maintaining product standards.
  • Strategically plan production staff duty rosters to meet operational needs.
  • Conduct interviews and select talented production staff members.
  • Coordinate production staff for outdoor catering functions, ensuring seamless execution.
  • Plan and approve overtime schedules for production staff as required.
  • Conduct random food checks at outdoor functions to maintain quality standards.
  • Perform quality checks on all food items before they are served to customers.
  • Innovate on food production and presentation techniques to enhance customer experience.
  • Train and develop staff members, enforcing proper food preparation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards, promoting a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Make recommendations for equipment purchases and kitchen upgrades.
  • Lead the development and pricing of new menu items, keeping our offerings fresh and exciting.
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by the company or immediate superior.
  • Delegate tasks and provide guidance to the kitchen team to maximize efficiency and productivity.

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Pay:
RM4, RM6,500.00 per month
