Lease Administration Support Specialist

Location:

This person will focus on lease administration to facilitate the growth and management of our property portfolio across the Asia Pacific region.

This position requires close collaboration with key stakeholders, including external legal support and IWG's legal team, to ensure our lease agreements align with legal requirements and standards.


Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review lease agreements and related documentation to ensure compliance with legal requirements and standards.
  • Collaborate with IWGs legal team and external support to address legal issues and provide guidance on lease agreements.
  • Ensure that all renewal leases comply with IWG's legal terms and standards and are consistent with IWG's Investment Committee Approval.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate legal documentation related to lease agreements in the property management system.
  • Assist in the preparation of legal lease abstracts and summaries for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with property managers, tenants, and legal teams to address legal inquiries and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Monitor legal compliance of lease agreements, including critical dates, deadlines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Generate reports and analyse legal lease data to support decisionmaking processes within the organization.
  • Support legal lease administration initiatives and projects to improve operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Participate in legal lease audits and assist in resolving legal discrepancies or issues as needed.
  • Safeguarding the organization's interests and maintaining legal compliance across the portfolio.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in lease administration, property management, or legal lease review job.
  • Strong knowledge of lease agreements, legal compliance, and real estate terminology.
  • Experience working with external appointed legal support and legal teams.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
