Psychosocial Support Services Coordinator

Health Equity Initiatives (HEI) is a Malaysian-based organization that advances the right to health for marginalized communities. To this end, HEI implements an integrated mental health program that adopts a community-based, participatory, and multi-disciplinary approach. The program includes the provision of mental health prevention and promotion, treatment, and rehabilitation services. HEI is currently recruiting a full-time Psychosocial Support Services Coordinator.

The roles and responsibilities include:

  • Conduct orientation on processes and protocols in the servicesProvide guidance and support for the Psychosocial Support Officers
  • Monitor the quality and data on the Psychosocial Support Service's deliverables
  • Oversee and assign the workload, across the team and of the team
  • Maintain and expand the service providers' directory
  • Conduct psychosocial intervention, including but not limited to making internal and external referrals, information gathering, and problemsolving
  • Provide services in consultation and collaboration with HEI's multidisciplinary team
  • Support community outreach sessions
  • Conduct necessary training for the refugee community
  • Produce notes, referrals, and reports in a timely manner

Qualifications and Criteria

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Psychology and a minimum of two years of working experience
  • Malaysian Citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Passion for community work, professional and able to work in a team
  • Possess a passion to serve the marginalized community
Remuneration will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications.

Salary:
RM3, RM4,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
