A Legal Personal Assistant to a CEO plays a crucial role in providing administrative and legal support to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of a company.

This position requires a unique combination of legal knowledge, organizational skills, and discretion.

Here are some key responsibilities and functions associated with the role:

Legal Support:

  • Assist in legal research and preparation of legal documents.
  • Draft, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and corporate governance documents.
  • Maintain and organize legal files and documentation.

Administrative Support:

  • Manage the CEO's calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate appointments.
  • Prepare and organize materials for meetings, conferences, and presentations.

Confidentiality:

  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality in handling sensitive information and legal matters.
  • Handle confidential documents and communication with discretion.

Communication:

  • Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with legal professionals, clients, and other team members.

Document Management:

  • Organize and maintain legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
  • Ensure that all legal documents are uptodate and accessible when needed.

Compliance:

  • Assist in ensuring that the company complies with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in laws and regulations that may impact the organization.

Meeting Preparation:

  • Prepare agendas, documents, and presentations for legal and executive meetings.
  • Take minutes during meetings and distribute them to relevant parties.

Legal Database Management:

  • Maintain and update legal databases, case management systems, and records.

Problem Solving:

  • Assist in problemsolving and decisionmaking processes related to legal matters.

Team Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with other members of the executive team, legal department, and administrative staff to ensure smooth operations.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law.
  • Minimum of 2 years of legal experience, preferably in corporate law or commercial transactions.
  • Proficient in handling administrative tasks such as document preparation, contract review, and legal research.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with external partners, clients, and stakeholders.
Mandarin is essential and a MUST as this position need to deal with China colleagues

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent

Salary:
RM5, RM8,000.00 per month
