Responsibilities

1. Servicing

  • Handle client's insurance requirements and enquiries in an efficient and competent manner.

2. Operation and Technical

  • Review clients' files regularly with Unit Manager, analyze and identify scope of cover required and check on adequacy of existing cover.
  • Comply with Best Practices Framework
  • Prepare renewal documents/proposal, assess if new products and services can be offered and effect crossselling.
  • Followup on renewal and confirm placement.
  • Followup with insurers on policy documents and check policy documents for correctness. Notify insurer of discrepancies and followup with insurer on amendments.
  • Ensure that filing of clients' document is uptodate and in compliance with the Company's filing guidelines.
  • Data entry into the office system

3. Credit Control

  • Send monthly statement of accounts to clients.
  • Impress upon clients the premium warranty due date and cashbeforecover regulation.
  • Monitor and followup on premium collection.

4. Claims Handling

  • Registration and updating of status of claims into the office system
  • Monitor progress of all claims in charged
  • Ensure compliance with Claims Process Flow Chart

5. Other Functions

  • Ensure full compliance with the Company's policies, procedures, rules and regulations as well as insurance regulatory requirements at all times.
  • Ensure that Unit Manager is kept fully informed of all pertinent issues or problems.
  • Cooperate and work together with Finance Unit to resolve reconciliation issues with clients and trade creditors.
  • Continuous enhancement and upgrading of technical and soft skills by attending courses as directed by the Company, selfresearch and onthejob learning.
  • Undertake any other duties as delegated/directed by the Unit Manager from time to time.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
Those with
BCCITB certification will be an added advantage:

  • Passion for insurance industry and servicing line
  • Minimum 25 years of experience in similar position, preferably with experience handling employee benefits programs
  • Excellent command of both spoken and written English. Those with additional language literacy have an added advantage
  • Proficient in Microsoft office
  • Fast learner, meticulous, and resultsoriented
  • Good sense of urgency and responsibility

Job Types:
Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary:
RM3, RM5,000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
